Eric Hassid MD completed his medical school at George Washington University and finished his residency at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Categorical Medicine. Dr. Hassid completed a fellowship in Functional and Anti-Aging Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine in Rehabilitation Neurology at UCLA. He is the associate medical director of The Sutter Health Institute for Health and Healing, Sacramento. His primary goal as a functional medicine physician at Sutter Health is to help patients achieve optimal health through positive lifestyle changes, the use of safe, natural therapies, and the use of targeted medical and rehabilitative interventions, whenever necessary.
An accomplished sports physical therapist, strength coach, and researcher, Russ comes from a background as a martial arts and strength athlete. After his academic years, which include a Master’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering at UC Davis and Physical Therapy at Sacramento State University, he pursued becoming a StrongFirst Kettlebell Instructor to complement his Sports Medicine Physical Therapy focus. As an academic, he is published and active in sports medicine research. As a physical therapist, he is deeply involved in his patient's successes, and as a coach, he leads groups of both young and professional athletes to better their total body performance, strength, and conditioning. Russ is the Sports Medicine Coach for the UFC Hall of Fame, Urijah Faber, and Team Alpha Male.

Dr. Aldrin V. Gomes PhD is a professor in the UC Davis Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior (NPB) Department and the Physiology and Membrane Biology Department at the UC Davis School of Medicine. His laboratory is the Muscle Physiology and Proteomics Laboratory, and he studies the molecular mechanisms of signal transduction, particularly in the role of proteostasis (protein homeostasis) in cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Gomes has won awards including the Fellow of the American Heart Association in 2017, UC Davis Chancellor's Fellow in 2016, and Fellow of the American Physiological Society (Cardiovascular Section) in 2015.
Kristine Burke, M.D., is board certified in family medicine and sports medicine, and fully certified in Functional Medicine. She is the Medical Director for Help Your Diabetes – Sacramento, and has practiced the full spectrum of family medicine in the Folsom and El Dorado Hills areas since 1997.
