A view of Cerro de San Pedro, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. One of my favorite places back home.
I am originally from San Luis Potosí, Mexico. I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California, Davis, where I completed my doctoral dissertation under the guidance of Professor Roger Casals.
Prior to my doctoral studies, I received both my Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics and my Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Physics from the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, where I worked under the supervision of Professors Alberto Molgado and Jasel Berra-Montiel.
Outside of mathematics, I enjoy reading and playing the guitar. I also consider myself very fortunate to share my life with my three little dogs, Temis, Artemisa, and Ares.
