Join us for Association Day! UCC’s annual homecoming and community celebration is happening on Saturday, Sept. 27, and will be filled with entertainment, athletics, food and activities for the whole family.
Featured events include the New Family Breakfast, the parade on the Avenue, Prep Soccer Fest, KidsZone, alumni sports, the Wookey Market, A-Day Archives Lounge, BBQ lunch, Boarders’ Brunch, 25 and 50 year tie celebrations (for alumni from years 1975 and 2000) and the varsity football game against Bill Crothers.
Visit our website for more information, including a schedule of events.
Admission to A-Day is free, but please note that the dunk tank, BBQ lunch and snack shack require tickets, which can be purchased in advance here. There is no ATM on site, so please bring debit/credit cards or cash for any on-site ticket purchases.
Join us for our annual Fall Open House at Norval on Sunday, Oct. 19, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Our Norval Outdoor School is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon. Enjoy the fall colours, nature hikes and opportunities to see evidence of wildlife as animals prepare for the winter. Families can also participate in a variety of outdoor activities, including a visit to our apple orchard to make cider, pumpkin painting, tree planting, and a fall scavenger hunt led by the Norval team. Stephen House will be open, with food and refreshments available.
Come join us for an outdoor day with friends and family. Dogs on a leash are welcome too!
Questions? Please contact Katarina Bojic, Community Relations coordinator at 416-488-1125 ext. 2277.
Directions: Take Highway 401 west to Winston Churchill Boulevard. Follow Winston Churchill Boulevard north and go through the village of Norval. Continue straight ahead. The entrance to the Norval property is on your left, 1.2 kilometres north of the village stoplight. The drive takes about 50 minutes from UCC in light traffic.
Please note that this event is rain or shine — families should dress for the weather conditions.
Dear UCC Community,
The nomination period for two of the College’s highest honours closes on Thursday, Oct. 30 at midnight. I hope you’ll consider nominating one or more of our extraordinary community members for these awards.
Information regarding the nomination process and deadlines for the John D. Stevenson Award and Old Boy of Distinction Award are available on our website.
Thank you in advance for nominating fellow UCC community members and helping the College recognize the profound impact of our alumni and volunteers!
Sincerely,
Chanakya Sethi ’03
President, UCC Association
