Dear UCC Community,
It is with deep sadness that we share the news that Elder Garry Sault passed peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 2. Elder Garry has been a longtime honoured guest at the Norval Outdoor School and was instrumental in building UCC’s knowledge about how we work towards Truth and Reconciliation. We’ll miss him for his passion for teaching, his sense of humour, and his ability to connect with students of many ages. His lessons will undoubtedly continue to live on through the many teachers and students who were lucky to have learned from him.
Our thoughts remain with Tena and the rest of Elder Garry Sault's family and community. He will be dearly missed.
If you wish to share condolences, Garry’s obituary can be found here.
Mark your calendars for Association Day!
UCC’s annual homecoming and community celebration is happening on Saturday, Sept. 27, and will be filled with entertainment, athletics, food and activities for the whole family.
Featured events include the New Family Breakfast, the parade on the Avenue, Prep Soccer Fest, KidsZone, alumni sports, the Wookey Market, A-Day Archives Lounge, BBQ lunch, Boarders’ Brunch, 25 and 50 year tie celebrations (for alumni from years 1975 and 2000) and the varsity football game against Bill Crothers.
