Please note that the final issue of Heads Up for this academic year will be distributed on Thursday, June 11.
Heads Up will return on Thursday, August 13, and will include important back-to-school information.
All gifts to the UCC Fund have a direct impact on student life at the College. Donations to the 2025–26 UCC Fund currently equate to $1,301 per student. Your donations are spent on new equipment and resources for the boys across many departments, renovations and upgrades to facilities, subsidized trips and excursions and much more.
Gifts of all sizes make a difference and will go to shaping the experience for students returning in September.
To make your gift to this year’s UCC Fund, please visit ucc.on.ca/donate.
Please join us for our annual Norval Spring Open House on Sunday, June 7, from 1–3 p.m.
Visit our beautiful outdoor campus, where you'll have an opportunity to explore the grounds and participate in the following activities:
Norval Amazing Race
Test your skills on the course, which takes you around the property with more than 15 challenges to attempt. If your team completes them all, you'll earn a special Norval Amazing Race medal!
Crayfish Safari
Did you know that there are 3 different kinds of crayfish that live in the Credit River? Help us catch (and release) some, and see what we can find. Please bring rubber boots for this activity, as you'll have to wade into the water.
Norval Garden
Students have worked hard to create this beautiful and educational garden filled with herbs, flowers and veggies. Spring is the perfect time to meet our vermi worms and plant flowers with our Norval gardener.
Food and refreshments will be available in the Stephen House.
Dogs at Norval
Leashed dogs are more than welcome to join the outdoor fun, but please keep in mind that they’ll need to stay outside.
Directions to Norval
Take Highway 401 west to Winston Churchill Boulevard. Follow Winston Churchill Boulevard north and go through the village of Norval. Continue straight ahead. The entrance to the Norval property is on your left, 1.2 kilometres north of the village stoplight. The drive takes about 50 minutes from UCC in light traffic.

As we prepare for the 2026–27 school year, our top priority is ensuring a safe and healthy campus environment for our school and students. To better manage and secure student medical information, our nursing team is transitioning our health forms to August Schools, a specialized partner platform that integrates with UCC’s Bluenet.
Completion of these forms by June 8 is required for school attendance in the 2026–27 school year; outstanding records may impact your child's ability to start classes in September. If you have not yet completed the form, please complete it by following the steps below.
How to access our new Bluenet health system
Log in to Bluenet using your credentials. Navigate to the Resource Board > School Health Forms.
You will be redirected to the form site. Please click on “Get Started” to access your parent portal and complete the required forms:
A parent or legal guardian must electronically submit the health enrolment packet, which includes medication and allergy information, a health history questionnaire and immunization records for Boarding students. Please note that if your child requires daily medication or a care plan for a medical condition (such as asthma or allergies), these forms will be available to be reviewed annually and resubmitted to reflect any changes that may have occurred since the last submission.
Need assistance?
If you encounter any issues or have questions regarding your child’s medical records, please reach out directly to the nursing staff at health.centre@ucc.on.ca. We also prepared a quick guide, available here, and an FAQ, available here.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school community safe.
Warm regards,
UCC Health Centre
