Dear parents,

It has been a busy first few weeks in the Prep School for athletics. Team tryouts have wrapped up and most teams will see their first competition this week. Last week our U13 White and Blue soccer teams saw their first action. There was a great deal to celebrate in the first games and the coaches and players now have a few more things to focus on in practice. 

This fall athletic season at the Prep will be busier than normal. The Prep is hosting the CAIS U13 National Championships along with cohosts RSGC, and we will welcome 14 teams to campus from Thursday, Oct. 17 through Saturday, Oct. 19. There will be teams representing CAIS schools from British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and Bermuda in attendance. We welcome the Prep community's support during this tournament as both of our U13 teams will be participating.

Association Day is a big day for the Prep School and this year it will be on Saturday, Oct. 5. All Prep students are invited to participate in SoccerFest. SoccerFest was founded by the late Bernard Lecerf, a much-loved teacher of French, Assistant Head, and soccer coach for close to 50 years. SoccerFest will be a colour house event from 8:30–10:30 a.m. The Prep will also be hosting three CISAA games for U12 Soccer, U13 Soccer and U12 Volleyball.
