Dear Families,
With the fall season now upon us, this means cooler weather and an increase in viral illness.
As part of our commitment to maintaining a healthy school environment, we kindly ask that you keep your child at home if they are exhibiting any signs of illness. This not only supports your child's recovery but also helps protect our entire school community. For further information, you may review UCC’s Health Policy for Monitoring and Absence Due to Illness.
Your cooperation ensures a safer space for all students and staff. Thank you for your understanding and support in keeping our community healthy.
Dear UCC Community,
The nomination period for two of the College’s highest honours closes on Wednesday, Oct. 30, and I hope you’ll consider nominating one or more extraordinary community members for these awards.Â
Information regarding the nomination process and deadlines for the John D. Stevenson Award and Old Boy of Distinction Award are available on our website.
Thank you in advance for nominating your fellow UCC community members and helping the College recognize the profound impact of our volunteers and alumni!
Sincerely,
Chan Sethi ’03
President, UCC Association
We look forward to welcoming members of the UCC community to A-Day on Oct. 5, 2024! The avenue will be closed to vehicles and parking will be extremely limited so please plan to walk, bike, take transit, carpool or park off campus.

Registration is required, please click here for the MEJ Tennis Tournament and here for the other alumni events.
Excitement is building for A-Day on Saturday, Oct. 5! Thank you to everyone who has already signed up for specific volunteer shifts.
More parent volunteers are needed and no experience is required.
Please click here to sign up for specific volunteer shifts if you do not have one yet and feel free to sign up for more than one shift if you have the time.Â
There will be a Zoom information session for all A-Day Volunteers on Monday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. to review the schedule, A-Day map, outline the various volunteer positions, and answer any questions.Â
We appreciate your interest and are delighted to have you help make A-Day a success!
GO BLUES!
Come join us for an outdoor getaway with friends and family! The whole community is invited for an outdoor getaway on Sunday, Sept. 29 from 1 to 3 p.m.Â
Located just outside the city, the property has 450 acres of forest and fields, with the beautiful Credit River flowing through the middle. If you’ve never been to Norval before, this is a great opportunity to see what it's all about first-hand. The Norval teachers will show you around and answer any questions about your child’s upcoming trips here, and the main lodge, Stephen House, will be open with food and refreshments.Â
Please note: Dogs on a leash are welcome, but not inside Stephen House. Please bring socks, as shoes are not allowed inside.Â
Directions to Norval: Take Highway 401 west to Winston Churchill Boulevard. Follow Winston Churchill Boulevard north and go through the village of Norval. Continue straight ahead. The entrance to the Norval property is on your left, 1.2 kilometres north of the village stoplight. The drive takes about 50 minutes from UCC in light traffic.
Please click here to register, or contact Amanda Vieira-Hasz in the Association Office, 416-488-1125, ext. 2038.
