Dear UCC parents,
The Upper Canada College's mandatory annual health form for the upcoming 2025–26 academic year is now accessible on Bluenet.
To ensure the health and wellbeing of your child, we kindly request that you log in to Bluenet and update and submit the Student Health Form. Upon logging in, you will find the yellow banner notification directing you to the form.
Should you require assistance with your Bluenet login credentials, please contact Help Desk.
If you have any questions regarding your child’s medical information, please email the Health Centre or call ext. 2270 (Upper School) or ext. 4911 (Prep School).
The deadline for submitting the completed form is Friday, June 6.
Thank you very much,
Health Centre Team
We invite you to join us at Norval for the Spring Open House on Sunday, June 1 from 1 to 3 p.m. All members of the UCC community are welcome to attend, including dogs (on leashes).Â
Come and visit to our beautiful Norval Outdoor School where you’ll have an opportunity to explore and participate in the following activities: Â
Norval Amazing Race: Try the Norval Amazing Race course which takes you around the property with more than 15 challenges to complete!Â
Crayfish Safari: Did you know there are 3 different kinds of crayfish that live in the Credit River? Help us catch (and release) some crayfish, and see what we can find. Please bring rubber boots for this activity, as you have to wade into water.
Check out the Norval Garden: Students have worked hard to create this appealing and educational garden filled with herbs, flowers and veggies. Spring is the perfect time to see what we've been growing, meet our vermi worms and plant some spring flowers with our Norval gardener. Â
Walking tours: Join us on a walking tour to learn about spring wildflowers and edible plants. It can be muddy, so please bring good walking shoes or hiking boots.
Food and refreshments will be available in Stephen House (please note that dogs are not permitted in Stephen House).
Click here to register or contact Cynthia Shipley at cshipley@ucc.on.ca.
Directions
Take Highway 401 west to Winston Churchill Boulevard. Follow Winston Churchill Boulevard north and go through the Village of Norval. Continue straight ahead. The entrance to the Norval property is on your left, 1.2 km north of the village stoplight. The drive takes about 50 minutes from UCC in light traffic.
We need your support to make this year’s Staff Appreciation Lunch a success!
A time-honoured tradition at UCC, the Staff Appreciation Lunch is our school community’s way of thanking all the different staff who help make our students’ experience at the College so remarkable. This includes teachers, administration, arena staff, housekeeping, food services and support staff. Approximately 350 staff will attend the lunch on Wednesday, May 28 in the Foster Hewitt Foundation Lounge.
The Staff Appreciation Lunch is fully funded by parent donations, so please contribute to this wonderful event for all of our UCC staff by donating here.Â
If you would like to volunteer to help at the Staff Appreciation Lunch, please click here.
Thank you so much for your support!Â
Thank you to our wonderful UCC families for helping 164 moms and their children at Ernestine's Women's Shelter, Elisa House Women's Shelter, Anduhyuan and Nekenaan First Nations Women's Shelters, and Jean Tweed Centre for Women to celebrate a Happy Mother's Day together!
Ernestine’s Women’s Shelter provides emergency shelter for 32 women and their children and offers services and support to over 700 women-led families across Toronto who have experienced violence.
Elisa House emergency shelter provides 40 beds for women who are experiencing difficulty accessing or maintaining independent housing, and offers supportive counselling, referrals, advocacy and life-skills training.
Anduhyaun Emergency Shelter and Nekenaan Second Stage Housing (an intermediate step between their Anduhyaun Emergency Shelter and more stable housing) both provide safe, temporary housing and support to Indigenous women and their children.Â
The Jean Tweed Centre annually provides counselling and care to over 1,700 women and their families. Their Child Development Centre offers support for moms and their kids through their Pathway to Healthy Families program and their Moms and Kids Too program. Â
Thank you to the volunteers of UCC's Helping Hands Club for carefully packing your generous donations of beauty and health items.
All of these gifts were cherished and made the day extra special for the moms and their children. Thank you for your kind support.
