Ms. Lopez has sent an email to Year 10 students who expressed interest in applying for either the Courses Pathway or the Systems Transformation Pathway. Those students have a link to book an appointment of their choosing with their university counsellor in order to continue the conversation, discuss the application process and select other course choices.
Please ask your student to check their emails and book that meeting at their earliest convenience.
All students should be very close to having ALL applications submitted to universities.
If students are still working on their supplementary essays, they should continue to work with their university counsellor to update them on the progress and to ask for any help or assistance as they’re happy to do so!
All Year 12 students must update their Naviance account ASAP, indicating all of the universities to which they are applying. This includes all universities in Canada, the U.S. and the U.K.
Checking university portals.
When a university /college receives an application from a student, the student will receive instructions as to how to set up their applicant portal. Students must check their portals regularly.
There may be items to do, updates to check off, or further instructions provided in your portal.
The UCO does not have access to any application once submitted so each student must check those emails and the portal accordingly.
If you have any questions about the items in your portal or are unsure how to find it, please see your counsellor for assistance.
