Hello UCC boarding community,

I would like to welcome everyone to UCC boarding as we near the start of our orientation period—New to Blue!

The UCC boarding staff team is eagerly looking forward to welcoming you all to campus and starting off what is set to be an excellent academic year. 

I speak for the entire boarding staff team when I say we are honoured to be a part of your journey at UCC. We look forward to seeing our boarders explore their passions inside and outside the classroom this school year. 

Here are a few reminders and updates as we head into the next few weeks and many begin their move to the UCC campus. 

Looking Ahead — Your Move to UCC!

To support your planning, the arrival dates are listed below for new and returning boarding students.

Thursday, Aug. 29, 1–6 p.m. 

Move-in for the Student Leadership Team (Prefects, SAS Student Coaches, Rao Commissioners and Heads of House) 

Saturday, Aug. 31, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. 

Move-in for all Year 9 through 12 returning boarding students

Sunday, Sept. 1, 9–11:30 a.m.

All new Year 8 through 11 boarding students will arrive for New to Blue Orientation! Please complete this survey so our Admissions Team can best prepare for our Family Reception and Dinner (5:30–7 p.m.).

Monday, Sept. 2 to Tuesday, Sept. 3

Boarding community overnight retreat at Norval (click here to see the packing list).

Tuesday, Sept. 3

New Student Orientation, including laptop pick-up, connecting with day students and campus tours. 

Wednesday, September 4

First day of classes!

UCC Boarding Custodian/Guardianship Form 

Upper Canada College requires that all boarding students have a designated guardian/custodian who meets the requirements stipulated by the College regardless of their citizenship, immigration status, or age. Please fill out the attached form by Sunday, August 18, so we can ensure we have this required information on file.
