This past Thursday, the boarding community gathered together to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival. The boarding community welcomed day school friends and faculty to the Upper Dining Hall for a delicious student-designed menu and enjoyed listening to speeches made by Mr. Parry-Lai, Byron and Jerry about the story of the Mid-Autumn Festival and their experiences celebrating at home with their families. The boarding community wishes everyone a happy Mid-Autumn Festival, and may the moon's gentle glow illuminate your path and fill your heart with joy.
A group of enthusiastic Year 9 students teamed up with some day students on Friday evening to experience the thrill of watching the Toronto Blue Jays in action. This exciting baseball game allowed our students to bond over their shared passion for sports and cheer for the home team. It was a day filled with cheers, excitement and a taste of professional sportsmanship.
On Sunday, a large group of our students embarked on an adventurous journey off-campus. They ventured into the serene woods for an action-packed day of paintball. Amidst the natural beauty of the forest, our students embraced teamwork, strategy, and adrenaline as they engaged in friendly paintball battles. It was an excellent opportunity to build camaraderie, enhance their problem-solving skills, and enjoy the great outdoors.
