As part of our ongoing learning journey as a College, this past spring we gathered feedback from our community through a parent and guardian survey. We’re grateful for the perspectives many of you shared — they are an important part of delivering the best possible learning experience for our students.
This report summarizes our key findings from the parent and guardian survey and, where applicable, findings from the 2022 student census and experience survey. It highlights areas of strength and opportunity as well as next steps and areas of focus.
Summary of Key Findings
Overall parent and guardian satisfaction is high and we have opportunities to further enhance it.
Parents and guardians see us as successful in advancing our mission, vision and values, with opportunities to increase our focus on wellbeing.
Parent and guardian satisfaction is high with our academic program and extensive co-curricular opportunities.
Overall parent and guardian ratings on skill development are high, with some areas of opportunity.
Some parents and guardians are eager for more individualized communication and attention for their child.
Most parents and guardians feel the level of focus on our value of pluralism and social justice is about right.
Parents and guardians report strong relationships from which to enhance student belonging.
Thank you for taking the time to respond to the survey and for sharing your valuable feedback. The findings have affirmed existing areas of focus and encouraged prioritization of some new initiatives. We’ll make progress in these areas over the coming years and will look for the impact of our work on future survey results.
Warm regards,
Sam McKinney
Principal
