Eleven boarders, accompanied by Mr. Sontag and Ms. Blagona, attended the second performance of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, starring Wedd's senior Tanzeel Ahmed and supported in the lighting booth by Jerry Jia (Seaton's) and John Xu (Wedd's), who had earlier that day performed an outstanding guitar solo in the school talent show assembly. Fast-paced, comedic and beautifully lit, Tanzeel shone as Malvolio, the play's most comic character, and delighted the audience. 

In a memorable trip that seamlessly blended athletics with entertainment, UCC boarding orchestrated an unforgettable weekend with a trip to witness the NBA showdown between the Toronto Raptors and the Atlanta Hawks. Anticipation buzzed as the students explored Toronto's basketball culture, donning newly acquired team gear to symbolize their allegiance. The Scotiabank Arena came alive with the deafening roar of the crowd as the Raptors and Hawks delivered an exhilarating game, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats with skillful plays and slam dunks. Halftime entertainment and shared cheers further solidified the camaraderie among students. The post-game reflections revealed a newfound appreciation for the sport and a shared sense of community. Despite the unfortunate outcome for the Toronto Raptors, the weekend trip allowed the students to witness an amazing NBA showdown that proved to be a remarkable and memorable experience for the students. 

In a festive crescendo of talent and togetherness, UCC Boarding hosted a remarkable dinner event where students and staff showcased their musical prowess in live performances, transforming the evening into a harmonious celebration. Two student heads of houses stole the spotlight as charismatic MCs, seamlessly guiding the audience through a diverse range of musical acts with charm and wit. Against a backdrop of enchanting melodies, the holiday feast served during the event added a delicious dimension to the night, fostering a warm and inviting ambiance. The combination of live music, engaging MCs and a sumptuous feast created an unforgettable experience, reinforcing the bonds of friendship and unity within the boarding community and leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who attended.
