We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Max Ishida Memorial Music Fund, generously initiated by Mr. Eugene Vinogradov and Ms. Naoko Ishida, parents of Max Ishida ’26 and Nicholas Ishida ’32. This fund is a tribute to Max's memory and his passion for music and creativity that will leave a lasting impact on our school community. Max, who was in Year 10, passed away in August 2023 as a result of a tragic accident.

The Max Ishida Memorial Music Fund will enhance and support our music department and celebrate student achievements in design, with a particular emphasis on digital media and cinematography. Max not only displayed a strong interest in these areas but also showcased his exceptional talents, bringing his unique vision and creativity to life.

This fund will pave the way for significant enhancements within our music program in the areas of musical instruments and technology, ensuring that our students have access to high-quality resources that nurture their artistic talents and technical skills.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Eugene Vinogradov and Ms. Naoko Ishida for their generous support, and we join them and all who knew Max in remembering him.
