Akwaaba to my personal page! I am a Linguist with the Department of Ghanaian Languages and Linguistics, University of Cape Coast, Ghana. I received my Ph.D. from the IGRA Gradschool at Universität Leipzig, Germany. My research broadly focuses on theoretical issues in the syntax and morphology of Kwa (Niger-Congo) languages of West Africa, especially, Gã and Akan (both spoken in southern Ghana), and I've worked on a range of topics, including pronouns, clausal determiners, marking definiteness, negative polarity, and inherent complement verbs, among others in these languages. I am, presently, the Local Investigator for Akan in the European Research Council-funded LeibnizDream Project.
