Information Privacy:
How do you safeguard your information as student within the school premises and any school related activity? You may write some tips on how to deal with this.
My answer:
To protect my or your information as a student is to optimize operating system, browser, and security software by installing recommended updates, update and secure all home devices connected to the internet, practice safe social media use; be careful not to post personal/sensitive information, delete or report suspicious emails to avoid granting access to accounts. Especially, don't click random links or visit unknown websites. On your computer, phone, or even smart TV, randomly clicking links or visiting unknown websites puts you at danger of having malware secretly downloaded that will break or disable your computer or other devices. You could get into problems if malware is installed while you are browsing a dangerous website.
I will and I can safeguard my information as student within the school premises and any school related activity by staying organized. I will monitor myself everytime what am I doing, keep my mobile devices and apps updated, encrypt sensitive information in an email or on voice mail since there is no control over who may access it, and do review the privacy settings on any personal social media accounts.
