1. Sketch out a scene in your design journal
a. Include an interesting backdrop
b. Include a sprite for yourself
c. Include four sprites about yourself you want to share
2. When you are happy with your sketch, begin to build your animation in Scratch as a new project
3. Name the project About Me
4. Using scripts, make the animation interactive
a. So that when the user clicks on any of the four sprites, a say bubble pops up and explains your interest or talent
5. Share your project and be sure to add detailed instructions to your users
6. Be sure to use the Intro Challenge Rubric to make sure you earn all the possible points for this project
7. Answer the Wrap-up Questions in your design journal
· Start with the backdrop, and then add the sprite that represents you. Add the scripts to make your sprite say something, and then use that process on all the sprites you are going to add
· Challenge yourself to do more! Play with adding new blocks, sound, and motion
· Use costumes to change the way your sprite looks
· Try adding movement into your animation
