Mission:
The mission of the Senior Woman Leader Council is to advance meaningful representation of women in the leadership and management of the California Pacific Conference and its member institutions and to foster an inclusive and informed perspective on issues and initiatives important to student-athletes, coaches, and staff.

Create and uphold an inclusive culture that promotes equitable participation and enhances the experiences of Senior Woman Leaders within the California Pacific Conference.
Share a commitment to equity and well-being by promoting shared responsibility for gender equity, diversity and inclusion, and student-athlete wellness.
Capitalize on diverse leadership perspectives at the campus level by advocating engagement of Senior Woman Leaders in leadership opportunities, senior-level discussions, strategic planning, and decision-making on significant athletic department priorities.
Involve Senior Woman Leaders in California Pacific Conference governance by engaging with the conference commissioner, Directors Council, and Management Council to ensure that Senior Woman Leaders have clear and significant responsibilities and participation within the existing governance structure.
Engage Senior Woman Leaders in national issues by sharing information on NAIA communications and important national issues and encouraging member institutions to consider the perspective of the SWL in its position or vote on proposed legislation.
Promote the growth and development of Senior Woman Leaders by supporting training, mentoring, and networking opportunities.
Provide oversight, guidance, and communication among California Pacific Conference member institutions specific to maximizing the role of the Senior Woman Leader on each campus.
