The topic I enjoyed the most was the first impression formed on a person. I enjoyed that topic because I never knew it took 30 seconds to form a first impression on a person and 20 additional encounters to form a bad impression of a person. I feel like that taught me how a person can judge and learn about me in just 30 seconds.
The topics I found interesting was Digital zombie, and coping with stress, and Brain development. I found brain development interesting because I never knew how a person's brain develops, mainly before birth and 15-and up, that’s why it caught my attention. I found digital zombie interesting because people are addicted to technology which can be bad in a way because it can distract them from important things such as school and family. Technology can have an impact on a person's life because it can lure them into internet drama and depression.
I believe that I have become more aware of myself as an adolescent because now I am old enough to make my own decisions and choose who to hang around with, and not to surround myself around negativity. I am now aware of how to recognize my emotions within myself and how to deal with them. I understand now that when I became more aware of myself I stayed out of trouble and went to school.
I am going to conquer my high school year and become a high school graduate by turning in all my work on time, staying out of trouble and staying in school at all times. I am going to make my goals and achieving them goals up to 12th grade. To conquer high school I’ll have to do that on my own and not to rely on people.
Coping with stress helped me through high school. I use belly breathing plenty of times to help me through my depression through some parts of 9th grade. It helped and prevented me from taking my anger out on my friends. I also talked to a responsible adult that I trust to help me maintain my grades and stay out of trouble through high school. For all those methods and time to think I am now finishing my high school year strong.

The topic I most enjoy was the stress topic. We learned about how you cope with stress, whats stress overload is, etc. The reason I really liked that topic was because stress is a thing that all teens go through. Some common teen stressors are relationships, family issues, etc. I really wanted to know about stress and now I do. Now I can teach other others about stress.
I am conscious about myself and my future. After I started freshman seminar it taught me alot about my future and why I should come to school. I want to go to college and become a music manager but I have to go to school to be those things and be successful.
I have gained a lot of skills since I have been going to Audenried. The skills were how to type faster, how to present something without being shy. I can do alot of things with those skills now. I also learned how to do applications and resumes so that will benefit me in the future so I can have an awesome job and an amazing life and I'm proud of that.
I will make sure I graduate high school by coming to school and keeping up with grades. I can keep up with my grades by doing the work I have to do when I have to do it. I want to graduate. I don't want to be a failure, I actually want to be something in life. I will make sure I graduate and be something great in life.
I will make sure i dont drop out of school by staying away from negativity and also staying out of trouble. I won't hang around the wrong crowd, the people who don't want to be nothing in life and just be trappers that's not me. I want to be successful. I want to be rich and help others. I don't want to be a dropout at all. I will do anything and everything so I dont drop out of school. I will be something in life.

Growth and Fixed Mindsets
The topic I enjoyed was fixed and growth mindsets. I feel like I took a lot of information from fixed and growth and related it to my life now. Before I learned about the different mindsets I felt like I had a fixed mindset about school and everything else. After I found out what the mindsets were I started to change it and started getting better grades, being more respectful to teachers and myself. I think learning this had a positive impact on my life because I feel my life slowly changing my life around from what it was. I try to go around to tell people how this class can help you change their life around if you really give it your all and pay attention. Not everybody will take the offer to change their life because they are use to their environment and what they do.

Freshman Seminar I thought at the beginning of the year that this was a class that was boring and that there was no point of it. But as the year went by I started to enjoy being in this class. In this class I learned a lot of things one of my favorite topics in this class is Managing Emotions. I like this topic because you learned a lot of things about emotions some things I learned about this topic is where do emotions come from, how do you get them, what is residual anger how do you get it , can you have more than one emotion at a time, these are some things I learned about this topic. Another thing that I like about this class is that Ms.Darby is always encouraging you to participate and work with others. One thing that I also enjoy about this class is when Mr.Corbin and Ms.Crystal come on Tuesdays because they always have activities and games for you to play but the games make you participate and work with others so I have earned a little more confidence working with others and participating in activities. And after almost finishing this year of ninth grade I am more confident in trying harder to pass all classes to be able to graduate in 2022. I also want to graduate because I want to be able to go to college to be able to get my dream job that is to be an Automotive Engineer and to work on my dad’s farm. So at the end I like being in this class and I would wish to be able to have it again next year because I like this class a lot but I know that we don’t get this class again next year .

Freshman Seminar is one of my favorite classes. We learned so much, we learned about positivity, feelings, memories, stressors, coping skills, mindsets, and a lot more that made an impact on me and my everyday life.
The one I really enjoyed is on Mondays how we set goals for ourselves for the week. We come in and say how we are feeling, what our goal for the week will be, and who will help us accomplish that goal. It feels good to have the speaking place sometimes and telling people how you feel. At the end of the week on Friday we are able to say whether we achieved that goal or not and you or “ I do” feel good that I accomplished something that week. The other thing I like is we are able to be us. So, the fact this is a judgment free zone. We present and we do PVLEGS which I like because we get feedback on what we need to work on. It helps with confidence and lots more of social issues or disabilities.
