Class Overview
Welcome to Exploring Art and Creativity! This year, we will dive into the wonderful world of art, where creativity knows no bounds! Whether you're an experienced artist or just starting out, this class will provide you with the tools, techniques, and inspiration to express yourself through various art forms. Students will learn a combination of artistic skills, and therapeutic techniques through art. Also understanding the terms and meanings of art therapy to help promote self-expression, emotional healing, and personal growth through the creative process.

About Ms. Wormack
Hello and welcome, 9th graders, to what I hope will be an inspiring journey into the world of art! I am genuinely excited to be your art teacher and guide as you unlock your creativity and experience the power of artistic expression. In this orientation, we'll get acquainted with what to expect in our class, setting the tone for a year full of inspiration and growth.
A little about me: I had the privilege of attending Cheyney University, where I was a proud member of the National Fine Arts Society and maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my time there. I am also a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., which has been a great source of pride and sisterhood for me.
In my free time, I love to get my hands dirty working with clay, exploring the tactile world of ceramics. Another passion of mine is tufting, a technique for creating rugs, which allows me to blend creativity with craftsmanship. And when I'm not busy with art, you can find me on the basketball court, staying active and enjoying the game.
