GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES

1. The partner university nominates its students through this link.
2. By email, the Public and International Affairs (PIA) office notifies the student and partner university of the result of the nomination. 
3. If accepted, the PIA office sends the course list and the following requirements to be accomplished by the applicant on or before the application deadline.
  • Application Form (word / pdf)
  • Transcript of Records / Academic Records
(Note: With minimum of 2.0 GWA. Students who do not meet this requirement may still apply but will be waitlisted.)
  • Written endorsement from the home institution’s international coordinator.
  • Medical certificate from the home institution’s medical services department stating that the student is physically and psychologically fit to study as an international exchange student in a foreign university
  • Passport copy
  • Insurance copy
  • Certificate of evidence of TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge CAE, DAAD or PTE results 
(Note: If the foreign applicant’s native tongue or medium of instruction in secondary school is not English, he/she should take the IELTS (minimum score of 6.0), TOEFL (minimum score of 500 for the paper-based test or 62 for the Internet-based test), CAE (minimum grade B or C1 certificate) DAAD (minimum score of 20 per component), and PTE (minimum score of 58). If a student does not meet the minimum requirement, he/she will be required to enroll in the English Lab for a fee. Alternatively, if a student is enrolled in a university whose medium of instruction in most of his/her subjects is English, a certificate from the home university is accepted.) 4. The student then submits to the home university’s international coordinator for checking, then forwards the complete documents to the UA&P PIA Office - pia@uap.asia. 5. PIA issues an acceptance letter to the students (cc: partner university) and completes the following forms before arrival. 6. A week before the start of the class,  the orientation for inbound exchange students is scheduled to inform them about the UA&P Rules and Regulations. Please check the UA&P Student Handbook.
7. Within the two weeks of stay, the student must process and pay the following items:Administrative Fee (Php 10,000.00)Bureau of Immigration - Special Study Permit (SSP) (Php4,740.00)Bureau of Immigration - ACR I-Card (50 USD)
6. At the end of the exchange period of the student, PIA sends a Student Feedback Form, which is part of the student’s clearance in compliance with the University’s policy required for all enrolled students at the end of their stay in the university and/or completion of their course of study.
8. UA&P releases the student’s Transcript of Records or Academic Records upon clearance from all accountabilities of the student with the University.
