A.1. The 6th Pan American Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad (PAGMO 2026) will be hosted by Colombia.
A.2. The Official Program should begin on October 18th of 2026 and ends on October 24th of 2026.
A.3. The Organization of PAGMO 2025 is comprised of the following committee:
Maria Losada, Universidad Antonio Nariño, Director Olimpiadas Colombianas
Elena Losada, Universidad Antonio Nariño, Administrator Olimpiadas Colombianas
Isabella Mijares, Universidad Antonio Nariño, Chief Organizer

A.4. The Contest papers for PAGMO 2026 are held on October 20th and 21st of 2025.
A.5. This edition will not include an invitation for deputy leaders. Countries that have already made concrete arrangements, such as purchasing tickets, will have their deputy leader serve as a coordinator. Should a deputy leader lack the qualifications or willingness to fulfill this role, whether due to limited experience in mathematics or mathematical olympiads, or because they serve in an administrative, family, or non-academic capacity, they will be considered observers and will be required to pay the corresponding observer fees. A team can choose to not bring a Deputy Leader.
A.6. Participation in any activity, ceremony, or space of the event is strictly limited to registered participants, leaders, duly registered observers, and official event staff. No exceptions will be made for individuals outside these categories.
A.7. Teams wishing to participate for the first time should send a solicitation for the Host Organization stating the intended team size through the email director.olimpiadas@uan.edu.co until September 20th, 2026. Since the Host Organization can receive only a limited number of teams, their applications will be confirmed or declined by September 25th, 2026.
A.8. The deadline to apply for observers is September 25th, 2026. The fee for each observer will be $850 USD for a shared room or $1,150 USD for a single room. An additional fee of $400 applies if a leader wishes to have a single room. Observer fees are to be paid on-site upon arrival, prior to room assignment. Credit card payments may be available subject to hotel confirmation. Since the Host Organization can receive only a limited number of teams and observers, their applications will be confirmed or declined by September 25th, 2026.
A.9. The deadline to confirm participation is September 25th, 2026. The detailing of the teams’ compositions must be informed before September 26th, 2026.
A.10. Proposals for problems must be sent to the PAGMO Problem Selection Committee, at pagmo.problemas@gmail.com before September 25th, 2026.
A.11. A document will be sent, to be signed by the participant’s legal guardians, agreeing that any photograph or video taken during the celebration of PAGMO 2026 may be published on the official website of the contest, as well as on their social networks.
A.12. The 2026 Perseverance Cup will be named after Mary Falk Losada, one of the driving forces behind the first Ibero-American Mathematical Olympiad held in Colombia and a recipient of multiple distinctions for her outstanding contributions to mathematical olympiads and mathematics education in Colombia and Latin America. She has served as a member and president of the World Federation of National Mathematics Competitions (WFNMC) and as editor of ZDM - Mathematics Education in the area of mathematics competitions.
