The 7th International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Business aims to bring together academics, researchers, policymakers, business leaders, and practitioners to explore the evolving drivers of economic competitiveness, business resilience, and sustainable growth in an increasingly complex and interconnected global environment.
Against the backdrop of geopolitical uncertainty, technological disruption, changing global markets, and environmental challenges, businesses and economies are being compelled to rethink traditional strategies, institutional frameworks, and development models.
The conference will provide an interdisciplinary platform for discussing how innovation, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, sustainable finance, and evidence-based policymaking can strengthen economic resilience and create new opportunities for inclusive and sustainable development.
Particular attention will be given to emerging economies, the Western Balkans, and the European integration process, while encouraging comparative perspectives and contributions from different international contexts.
By connecting academic research with business practice and public policy, the conference seeks to promote knowledge exchange, international collaboration, and practical solutions to contemporary economic and societal challenges.

Participation for full-time and part-time academic staff and doctoral students of Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës is free of charge.
Participation for academic staff from partner universities and their doctoral students is free of charge.

For doctoral students from other universities, the conference fee is €25 per paper.
Doctoral students must provide a certificate of enrolment in a doctoral degree programme upon abstract acceptance.

Abstracts must be written in English and should not exceed 300 words.
Abstracts should include the research objective, methodology, main findings or expected results, and research implications.
Each abstract must include the JEL classification and up to six keywords.
Abstract and full-paper templates will be made available on the university website.
Each paper may have a maximum of three authors.
Each author may present a maximum of two papers.
All submissions will undergo evaluation by the Scientific Committee.
Accepted papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings, subject to the conference's review and publication requirements.
Publication in the Interdisciplinary Journal of Research and Development (IJRD), the scientific journal of Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës, may be considered in accordance with the journal's editorial and peer-review policies.
Additional publication opportunities in indexed scientific journals may be announced.
