I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where I founded and lead the AI4EDGE Lab in January 2026. My research focuses on low-power artificial intelligence (AI) systems and energy-efficient hardware design, with an emphasis on enabling scalable, high-performance, and sustainable edge computing solutions.
At AI4EDGE, we work at the intersection of algorithms, hardware architecture, and system design, targeting impactful applications in biomedical engineering, IoT, and wearable technologies. Our research has been published in top-tier venues such as DAC, ICCAD, and FPGA, as well as leading IEEE journals including IEEE TCAD, IEEE T-VLSI, and IEEE JSSC.
🚀 We are actively recruiting highly motivated PhD and MS students, as well as undergraduate researchers, who are passionate about:
Edge AI and TinyML
FPGA/ASIC design and hardware acceleration
AI-hardware co-design
Energy-efficient and sustainable computing systems
Students in the lab will have opportunities to work on cutting-edge research, publish in top conferences and journals, collaborate with industry partners, and gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art platforms (e.g., FPGA, embedded systems, and AI accelerators). If you are interested, please read these instructions first.
