UA Little Rock Classical Piano Lessons
Piano lessons are available to elective students, music majors, and music minors through the course MUPR Piano Lessons. Dr. Holzer's piano teaching studio/office is located in Fine Arts rm. 101-D. Enter the Fine Arts building from the side entrance that faces Ottenheimer Library.
Syllabus for MUPR 1126, 1226, 2126 section 1 — elective students, music minors, non-majors.
Syllabus for MUPR 2226, 3226, 4226 - Music majors or minors, audition required; also those who play at the level of a music major. Please ask me for further information to plan your audition, or read the Audition Guidelines.
Syllabus for MUPR 7226 - graduate-level piano study, audition required.
Beginners (those who have not taken piano lessons previously, do not yet read music in treble and bass clef to play hands together, and are not familiar with scales, key signatures, time signatures, and chords) who are not music majors should register for MUAP 1150, Piano for Non-Majors.
