Whether this is your first semester or you are a seasoned Composition II student, this Help site will guide you through some of the more common technical problems you might encounter along your Composition journey through my class here at UA-Little Rock.
You have access to the full suite of Google products through your student email account. We will focus on using Google products in Composition I and II.
You have full access to Microsoft Office 365 because you are a UA Little Rock student. Follow the instructions on the UA Little Rock's IT Services page to find out more information.
Assignments are posted on Blackboard. All documents related to our class will be uploaded and accessible in the Blackboard classroom.
Yes! Email Mrs. Austin with your request once you receive your grade for the final draft of your assignment. As long as you have done your assignments in good faith, Mrs. Austin will work with you on any rewrites you choose to undertake.
Maybe. If you have a doctor's note, email Mrs. Austin a file/picture of the note for an excused absence. If your absence is due to some other unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstance, send what proof you have and Mrs. Austin will consider, but not guarantee, an excused absence.
Well, that's complicated. The biggest reason is that the Google suite of products are free and attached to your student account. You will not immediately lose access to this upon graduation or be required to start paying for that access. So, it's not so much about what you have access to now, but what you will easily have access after graduation.
Believe it or not, there will come a day when you will want to look back on all this work. We want to make that as easy on you as possible.
