All students participating in clinics, practicums, and externships are added to those courses by the registrar. If you have been accepted into one, remember to keep that part of your schedule open.
First-year students will be automatically registered for fall and spring courses.
All other students will be registered for all required courses with the exception of Lawyering Skills I and II, Professional Responsibility, and Introduction to Bar Preparation Skills.
A student is presumed to know all academic rules and all other rules and requirements of the UA Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law.
Law students withdrawing completely from the law school must complete the official withdrawal form. Dropping all of your individual classes in BOSS is not acceptable as an official withdrawal.
If you have questions about registration at Bowen, please contact Records & Registrar: 501-916-5432 or email: law-records@ualr.edu.
If you would like to transfer divisions, you must submit a Petition to Transfer Divisions.
1L's who switch from the part-time division to the full-time division must take Civil Procedure I and Property I at night.
All students are restricted by division when registering for required classes. For example, full-time students may not enroll in an evening Lawyering Skills I class, and part-time students may not take Property I during the day. Bar-tested subjects (like Family Law and Business Associations) and electives are restricted by division until Open Registration begins. Once Open Registration starts, students in any division may enroll in elective courses.
