Our project is structured as a suspended web, created out of yarn with two sides. Each side explores alternative patient experiences of relational support. Each piece of yarn depicts a type of relationship a patient may have and the inherent roles they bring ( e.g. partner, parents etc.) The piece uses colour, texture, space and thickness to illustrate different features of these relationships. Additionally we created poetry that explores the same themes in a complementary manner to our structural piece. Pieces of the poetry are attached to the relational strands.
