The one thing we are most intimately tied to in life is our own body. It is the vehicle through which we experience everything: the embrace of a loved one, the thrill of athletics, an evocative sunrise, a moving symphony, a passionate lover, the taste of our favorite dish. For most, it is taken for granted and given little thought...until it lets us down, turns on us, embarrasses us. Then we notice, then we curse, then we cry.
