Hidden Worlds
Often, an experience requires the visual aid, vestibule hearing and delicate touch of our senses. As health care providers, we are often searching for ways to obtain these “senses” from our patients, to better understand and prospectively treat their illnesses; to empower them to overcome their diseases. But what about the medical experiences that we cannot yield from a connection with our patients? How do we treat that which we do not know? Our ability to empathize can only go so far sometimes. But in the hands of the right creator, its ability is accentuated and enlightened, so that their senses will remain unknown, no longer.
