The theme is the pathway traveled by patients through the health care system while trying to receive care. We wanted to capture that these unique paths also have negative and positive situations that are shared in common. The project visually illustrates some barriers encountered by patients, and highlights protective factors. It also demonstrates how the patients' journeys can be convoluted, and often not the most direct path toward receiving the care that they need.
