Guided Discussion: How do we, as a museum staff, respond to the idea of unsettling the pioneer narrative at our museum?

Guide a discussion using the questions below. The questions are designed to conclude the workshop and debrief some of the materials created and the responses expressed during the activities. The questions are suggestions or starting points for participants to build from:
What did you notice about your understandings of pioneer when doing these activities?
How do your understandings of pioneer work in relationship with the pioneer narrative at the museum?
Did you discover any uncomfortable moments when thinking through different understandings of pioneer?
Are there opportunities to unsettle the pioneer narrative at the museum?
What are the challenges to that unsettling?
