Are you a native Mandarin Chinese or English speaker? Are you experiencing the winter blues? Do you feel like getting outside and catching some sun but have nothing to do? Do you tend to run out of summer activities to do with friends?
The Chinese Multimodality Lab from the Department of East Asian Studies at the University of Alberta is looking for native Mandarin and/or English speaking participants (Ethics ID: Pro00120394*)!
Our Goal: To understand how people from different language and cultural backgrounds get others to do things in their native languages.
Your Task: You will be paired with another participant. You and your partner will play a series of games, and/or participate in a scavenger hunt to find items (about 1.5 – 3 hours).
When: Late July 2023 – early September 2023.
Compensation? $30 cash.
Where: Edmonton, details TBD.
