Cancer and its treatment lead to development of prominent nutrition impact symptoms like nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite and taste and smell changes. These symptoms can make eating difficult during and after cancer treatment.
Eggs are a preferred food choice in people living with cancer. Eggs are a source of high quality protein, contain all the essential amino acids and have high digestibility. The eggsactly study is a nutrition intervention study designed by researchers at the U of A, to investigate eggs as a source of protein for patients after cancer treatment.
People receiving or completed treatment with chemotherapy for head/neck cancer or lung cancer
What will happen in the study?
