Representations Lab

Welcome to the Representations Lab at the University of Alberta.  We study how computer models (typically backed by Deep Neural Networks, DNNs) learn to represent their input data, and how those representations are (or are not) similar to the way the brain represents the same inputs.  We study language primarily, but have explored similar ideas for visual processing.

For more information, see Dr. Fyshe's personal page, or her Google Scholar page.

If you're interested in joining the lab, see this page.
