APPLICATION PRE-REQUISITES:
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Internal Medicine (including exam) or equivalent
Completion of Respirology Residency in an approved institution

CV (Curriculum Vitae)
Three (3) Letters of Reference
Proof of funding from home government/hospital OR request for funding from Division/Department
Proof of English Language Proficiency (ELP) to satisfy the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta through an approved exam
Note: Please review the language requirements. Click here for the CPSA English Language Requirements. Pay particular attention to the exemptions as most international applicants are not exempt from writing an ELP exam.

Applicants must indicate their funding status on the online application form.
Opportunities for funding may take many forms; being funded by the University of Alberta Respirology division is limited and a competitive process. In some cases, a fellow may be sponsored by their home government or hospital, or through scholarship/industry funds. All sponsored funding requires a confirmation letter from the sponsor.
International trainees must have a secured form of institutional or government funding.
