Resources & Additional Information

Hospital / School Identification: 

Please bring your home school ID badges.  You will need to see Security on your arriva for a temporary Alberta Health services badge for your elective.  (Lost ID badges will cost you a fee of $15.)   

Pagers:

We recommend that you have a pager for your rotation. 

• Medical Students:  Pagers can be picked up and returned to the Undergraduate Medical Education Office (Katz 1-002)   

• Residents:  Pagers can be picked up and returned to the Postgraduate Medical Education Office (2-76 Zeidler Ledcor Centre).  

Lockers:

• Lockers are available  in the Edmonton Clinic Health Academy (ECHA). All of our lockers are assigned. Please contact the program administrator for a locker number and lock combination if you would like one for your rotation. Use of a locker is at your own risk.

• Leave valuables at your own risk. All lockers have been secured with a high security lock, these are the only locks you are permitted for use on your assigned locker, and the locks remain the property of Pediatrics and must not be removed for any reason. Do not "mark" your locker in any way - no stickers, markers, etc

NetCare and ConnectCare Access:

Access to ConnectCare and NetCare are necessary for your elective. These should have been checked off on your "In-Coming Elective Form" that was completed when scheduling your elective.  You should have been contacted by someone from AHS to grant you access to both. If you have not heard from AHS about your Connect Care access, please reach out to our program administrator ASAP.
