“Communication for Connection”, highlights communication as a means of building relationships, fostering social participation, and supporting meaningful connections with others. Through a variety of speakers across settings and client populations, we aim to provide attendees with valuable insights into how SLPs can support clients to connect with family, friends, and their community, while learning about each speaker’s unique knowledge and expertise.

Thank you to everyone who attended the 2026 OASIS Conference - Communication for Connection. We hope you had a great time and went home with valuable new insights! The OASIS Conference is student-run, and a new group of students puts on the conference each year.
