Mistakes happen in the medical setting and can have devastating consequences for patients and their families. With varying kinds of medical error, apology legislations and perspectives on how error should be communicated, a physician may not express an apology. However, apologies can be extremely important to patients and their loved ones in helping them move forward. Our project aims to show the meaning of words in situations of medical error, and how meaning can differ depending on the person/situation.
