Depicted here is a virtually universal patient experience that are often faced with the challenge of power differences, isolation and their journey towards growth and self-discovery. As a new generation of physicians comes through, patients are seeing this change to collaborative care, advocacy, and redefining identity. The final scene depicts a cactus that has grown against the odds and is blossoming in a supportive environment, no longer looked down upon. We are humbled and inspired to keep the momentum of this inclusive and positive change going.
