I designed this course for the MLCS 299 course design competition in the Department of Modern Languages and Cultural Studies at the University of Alberta in which graduate students vie for the opportunity to teach a course of their own design. “Indigenous Literatures & Decolonization” won the 2023 competition. Developed for Level 2 of the Graduate Teaching and Learning Program at the University of Alberta, this recorded microteaching activity features yours truly teaching Dutch compound words, from stoplicht to vogelbekdier. Click on the image to access the recording.
