Research Interest:

Mathematical biology, nonlinear differential equations, and dynamical systems, with particular interests in traveling waves and spreading dynamics in epidemic models, including spatially discrete, periodic, and time-delayed systems. I am also interested in mathematical modeling of ecological and environmental systems.

Yanzhi is a visiting MSc student from the School of Mathematical Sciences at Anhui University. Yanzhi's research focuses on mathematical biology and nonlinear dynamical systems, particularly the spatial spread of infectious diseases. During the visit to ILMEE, Yanzhi is studying traveling waves and spreading dynamics in spatially discrete epidemic models with periodic environments and time delays.
