Interdisciplinary Lab for Mathematical Ecology & Epidemiology
Interdisciplinary Lab for Mathematical Ecology & Epidemiology (ILMEE), directed by Prof. Hao Wang (Senior Canada Research Chair), works on several areas of mathematical biology as diverse as modelling stoichiometry-based ecological interactions; microbiology; infectious diseases; habitat destruction and biodiversity; risk assessment of oil sands pollution; spatial memory and cognition; wildfires, as well as early warning systems. Mathematical and statistical approaches include differential equations, data science, and machine learning. Dr. Hao Wang is always keen to hear from well-qualified prospective graduate students, postdocs, and visitors who want to work in the above areas. For quality postdocs, please consider applying for a Banting, PIMS, NSERC or Killam fellowship and send your CV to Dr. Hao Wang.
