A. F. Mujibur Rahman Gold Medalist (MPhil academic excellence, BUET)
Research Interests: My research focuses on ecological and epidemiological modeling, with particular emphasis on:
Animal foraging strategies under external and internal stressors
Stoichiometric theory and its impact on ecological dynamics
Ecotoxicology and its effects on animal behavior
Epidemic models and optimal control strategies
Within-host (in vivo and in vitro) dynamics involving multiscale process
I am a PhD student in Applied Mathematics at the University of Alberta under the supervision of Prof. Hao Wang. My research develops mathematical and data-driven models to examine how individual behavior and environmental stressors influence the dynamics of ecological and epidemiological systems. I am especially interested in bridging theory with real-world applications to uncover underlying and control mechanisms. Outside of my academic work, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.
