Short Research Journey:

I have Completed my undergraduate and masters in mathematics from Dhaka University. My research journey started with the analysis of the birth rate functions for the malaria vector population. Later on, I had the opportunity to serve as a faculty member at different universities in Bangladesh. Within that period, I tried to explore more about infectious disease modeling, evolutionary game theory, and a subjective experiment on the acceptance of vaccines. My Ph.D. program at the University of Alberta has started with the investigation of the mysterious hydra effect in population dynamics.

Beyond Academic Activities:

  • Passionate about sports and have received a number of awards for my performances in playing football and cricket from Dhaka University and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.

  • Regular voluntary blood donation got recognition at Dhaka University.

  • Attended six-month-long training on soft skills as well as top-up IT.

  • Have experiences regarding the organization of mathematics quizzes, Olympiads, as well as sports events.

Overall, I prefer teamwork and am comfortable leading a team when I get the chance.
