Research Interest: Biological diffusion and its effect on pattern formation. Cognitive movement with nonlocal sensing, Chemotaxis model
Kyunghan is a postdoctoral research fellow in ILMEE under the supervision of Professor Hao Wang and Professor Thomas Hillen. His research interest primarily lies in biological diffusion and its effect on pattern formation. His work in ILMEE involves models for cognitive movement of animals or organisms. Specifically, it includes modelling and analysis of cell movement depending on nonlocal distribution of memory or chemical substances.
Kyunghan completed his PhD degree in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology).
In his free time, Kyunghan enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and drinking cups of coffee.
