Research Interests:

Reaction-diffusion epidemic models; Traveling wave solution; Properties of basic reproduction number (Asymptotic profile and monotonicity)

I am currently a PhD student majoring in Applied Mathematics, and a member of Dr. Hao Wang’s research group at the University of Alberta. My current research interest is how to use reaction-diffusion mathematical models to investigate the persistence and extinction of mosquito-borne diseases. Specifically, I like to focus on the existence of the traveling wave solution of the model, the monotonicity and asymptotic profiles of the basic reproduction number with respect to the dispersal rates.
