Ali Hamidoğlu

Ali Hamidoğlu is a Postdoctoral Fellow, leading policy-based and bacterial modelling in the Alliance Missions Project at ILMEE under the supervision of Professor Hao Wang.

He received his Associate Professorship in applied mathematics from the Higher Education Council of Turkey (YÖK) in 2024 and obtained his Ph.D. in mathematics from the Middle East Technical University (METU) in 2020.

He previously worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Bahçeşehir University from 2022 to 2024. 

The primary focus of his research is control theory and its applications, system modeling, reinforcement learning, optimization algorithms and game theory. 

In his free time, he loves to solve math olimpiad problems and participate in various types of individual-based sports.
