Congratulations to all recipients of the FGSR Graduate Student Teaching Awards! The GPSA is also proud to have Physics students in the roster: Sally Palmers, Anna Redaz, Margaret Ridder, Rohith Vedhthaanth Sekar, Christina Strilets, and Elena Temnikova.

Howe Simpson, the current VP Finance of the GPSA, became the 2025 U of A 3MT™ Champion! The finals happened on March 21, 2025.

He also travelled to Victoria for the National 3MT competition. The GPSA hosted a Watch Party for the finals on May 6.

GPSA has been awarded, in March 12, the 2025 GSA Student Group Award! This is the end result of a lot of effort from the group executives and it is lovely to see a materialization of it.

PhD candidate Pramodh Yapa has published his latest research about a theory of a new phase of quantum matter which has the frictionless flow of a superfluid while also showing properties of a crystalline solid at Physical Review Letters! Find more information here!
