The eCBAS usernames are: med\firstnamelastname
Example: med\janedoe
Your MedID is needed to reset your password for eCBAS. MedIDs are generally setup as firstnamelastname.
Example: janedoe
Enter your MedID
Keep that same browser window open.
Check your email for the 6-digit MedID passcode.
Return to the browser window and enter the passcode.
A new prompt will appear and select that you receive one final code via SMS.
Enter your desired new password.

1. Ensure you are including the "med\" prefix in your username.
Example: med\JaneDoe
2. Double check your are navigating to the correct URL (see the main page of this site for links) or see URL below.
eCBAS on desktops: https://ecbas.med.ualberta.ca/eCBAS/SiteAssets/Home.aspx
The link above will take all users to a main page where you can then navigate using the top menu to any sub-site that you have user access to.

3. Try accessing the URL in private mode

If browsing in private mode resolves the issue, we recommend you clear your regular browser cache.
